Desktop publishing (DTP) is an umbrella term which encompasses the technical processes needed to perfect the layout of your final document, so that it is ready to be digitally or manually published.
Our team of in-house graphic designers master most publishing software. Whatever the language pair or final desired output, we will ensure that the deliverable will be identical to the source document that you provide us.
Our DTP Department offers a wide range of personalised turnkey services, including translation and graphic layout.
Having received the native files, of a PDF or a scanned document, we are able to deliver the translation in any format you require.
Native files - We prepare InDesign, FrameMaker, AutoCAD, etc. files so that the content can be exported, translated, and reintegrated into the original artwork ensuring that the layout is respected. We will deliver the translated native files, along with the associated PDF files.
PDF – For PDF files provided by the customer, we convert them into Word files or another format before translation to ensure that the source PDF document’s layout is the same in its translated version.
OCR - Whenever we need to translate a scanned document, we will extract the text to allow the translator to work on the content. After the extraction, our team will work on the graphic retouches needed to create an optimal final outcome of the translation.
Our internal DTP Department can adapt to your tools and your needs. With a host of experience in DTP, we will be able to find you the best possible solution.
